What PowerLoss Means
Whirlpool explains that when power is first supplied to the oven, or after a power interruption or failure, the display shows "Time", "12:00" or "POWER LOSS". It is the range telling you it lost power and needs the clock set, not a fault.

- Household power interruption
- Breaker tripped and reset
- Loose supply connection causing brief dropouts
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Set the clock following your model's procedure - usually a Clock or Settings key followed by the time. The flashing stops once the time is entered. If the display does this every few days without any household outages, look at the supply: a loose outlet, a shared circuit or a failing breaker can cause brief dropouts that only the clock notices. That is worth an electrician's attention.
