Recognize the Warning Signs
These are the issues we get called about most. If any of this sounds familiar, it is worth a diagnostic visit before the problem gets worse.
Refrigerator section warming while the frozen side stays cold
Cold air is made at one coil and moved across by a fan through a duct and damper. A stalled fan, a stuck damper or a failed defrost part warms one side while the other carries on. We measure before replacing anything. See likely causes →
Washer stopping part-way with water still in the drum
Switch it off at the breaker and close both taps before opening anything, because the water will come out. The drain pump, its filter, the hose and the pressure system are all technician work once water is sitting in the machine. See likely causes →
Dryer tumbling but the load stays damp
Restricted venting causes this more often than every failed part combined, and packed lint in a duct is a genuine fire risk. Stop using it until the airflow has been checked properly. See likely causes →
Dishwasher leaving standing water in the tub
Isolate it at the breaker, then lift out and rinse the filter assembly first. If water still stays behind after that, the drain pump, the drain hose or the sink connection needs diagnosing. See likely causes →
Range burner clicking but never lighting
Smell gas at any point? Leave and call your utility from outside first. Otherwise let it cool, check the burner cap is dry and seated square, and clear the slots. Still clicking means the electrode, switch or spark module needs testing. See likely causes →
Oven running well away from the temperature on the display
Put a thermometer on the center rack and let the cavity settle. A reading well off the setting points at the heating element, the temperature sensor or a relay on the control board, not at your recipe. See likely causes →
Cooktop zone dead at every setting
Usually the element itself, the switch behind the knob, or the power board on induction models. If the glass is cracked, switch it off at the breaker and stop using it until it is replaced. See likely causes →
Microwave running but never heating the food
The parts behind this sit on the high-voltage side and can hold a dangerous charge even when unplugged. This one is for a technician with the correct discharge procedure, not a DIY repair. See likely causes →
Freezer running constantly without holding 0°F
Frost buildup, a lid or door no longer sealing, or a defrost or fan problem. Take a thermometer reading, keep it shut, and follow USDA guidance on anything that has already thawed. See likely causes →
Ice Maker producing small, hollow or fused cubes
Restricted water is almost always behind it: a filter past its date, a partly closed supply valve, a kinked line or a fill tube frozen inside. Change the filter first, then have the inlet valve checked. See likely causes →
Water Heater delivering only lukewarm water
On an electric tank that is usually one element or its thermostat; on a gas tank the burner assembly, thermocouple or gas control valve. Sediment on the tank floor and the age of the vessel both come into it, and we will tell you where the tank is in its life before you spend anything. See likely causes →
Garbage Disposal humming without turning
Power off at the wall switch and the breaker, never put a hand in the chamber, and free the plate with the hex wrench underneath as the manual for your model shows. If it jams straight back up, it needs a look. See likely causes →
Air Conditioner running but the air is not cold
Check the mode setting and clean the filter first, and make sure nothing blocks the outdoor-facing side. Refrigerant work is regulated and has to be done by a technician licensed for it. See likely causes →
Wine Cooler drifting off its set temperature
Blocked ventilation clearance, a seal that no longer closes cleanly, or a drifting zone sensor. A freestanding cabinet squeezed into tight cabinetry will never hold temperature whatever parts go in. See likely causes →
Why Homeowners Trust Us With Their Whirlpool Appliances
Whirlpool-Focused Diagnostics
We work across the Whirlpool refrigeration, cooking and laundry lines every week, and we test the failed component before quoting a repair.
No Work Before You Approve It
The diagnosis comes first, then a written figure. If you would rather not go ahead, you have paid for the diagnosis and nothing else.
Realistic Arrival Windows
Same-day slots when the day’s route still has room, and an arrival window we actually expect to keep rather than a whole day to wait through.
Whirlpool Parts Already On the Van
The parts that fail most on high-volume Whirlpool models travel with our technicians, which is why a good share of visits end in a finished repair rather than a return trip.
Straight Repair-or-Replace Advice
If the repair does not make financial sense against the age of the appliance, we say so before you spend the money.
We Stand Behind the Labour
Every completed repair carries our own workmanship warranty. We are an independent service company with no affiliation to Whirlpool Corporation.

Why a Whirlpool Specialist Beats a General Repair Shop
A Whirlpool specialist focuses exclusively on Whirlpool appliances, carries Whirlpool-specific parts in every service vehicle, and trains technicians specifically on Whirlpool diagnostic procedures. A general repair shop works across dozens of brands and often doesn't stock parts — or carry deep expertise — for a less common model.
| Capability | Us · Whirlpool Specialist | General Repair Shop |
|---|---|---|
| Whirlpool parts in stock | Always | Sometimes |
| Whirlpool-trained technicians | Every tech | Maybe one |
| Knows current + legacy models | Every series | Limited |
| Repair warranty included | 30 days | Varies |
| Background-checked technicians | Required | Varies |
Proudly Serving Five Metro Areas
Every city page below is built for your local address, crew, and response time — not a generic template.
Your Whirlpool Appliance Doesn't Have to Wait
Book online in under a minute, or call now and talk to a real technician — not a call center script.
Our technicians specialize in Whirlpool appliances and are trained specifically on Whirlpool engineering, control boards, and error-code diagnostics, so repairs are faster and more accurate than a generalist visit.
Most requests in Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and San Diego are scheduled same-day or next-day, depending on your neighborhood and time of day you call.
The diagnostic fee is disclosed upfront when you book and is waived when you approve the repair, so there is never a surprise on your invoice.
Let us know when you book - we will help you understand your options, and if it is more cost-effective to route the claim through Whirlpool directly, we will tell you honestly.
Our technicians stock the most common Whirlpool parts for your appliance type, so the large majority of repairs are completed in a single visit.
Book online or call in, and a technician arrives in the window we give you. They diagnose the problem on-site, walk you through what is actually wrong, and give you a flat price before any repair starts - nothing happens until you say go.
Every completed repair carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. If the same issue comes back in that window, we return and fix it at no charge. Parts may carry the manufacturer warranty where applicable.
