What LoC Means
LoC (or LC) means the Control Lock is switched on. It is a child-lock feature: the panel stops responding so a cycle cannot be started or changed by accident. Nothing is broken.
Common Causes of LoC
- Control Lock deliberately or accidentally enabled
- Key held during cleaning, enabling the lock
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Find the Control Lock key on the panel - it is often a secondary function printed under another button - and press and hold it for three seconds. The lock icon disappears and the panel responds again. If you are not sure which key it is, the owner manual for your model names it. If the lock will not release after holding the correct key, power the machine down for five minutes and try again.
